Welcome to the Home page for the Matterley Estate and the Punchbowl
The Matterley Estate is a family owned and managed farm which was bought by the Bruce family in 1946. The farm consists of a dairy unit producing milk for human consumption and an arable enterprise producing barley, wheat and oats.
One of the primary features of the estate is the natural amphitheatre known as the "Punchbowl" or "Matterley-Bowl" which is used not only for producing food for the dairy herd and grazing, but also forms a picturesque backdrop for outdoor events such as ericsson@homelands 2001.
The pages have been designed to be easily navigated using the titles on the left side of the screen. Some of the links will take you to other sites, but you can return here using your browsers back button. |
